NEW YORK, NY (RHONA FOX, INC.) - Grammy Award-winner Chrisette Michele returns with her sophomore album, Epiphany, due in stores on May 5, 2009. Now New York's nightlife trendsetters, Upscale Crowd and Caribbean Fuse, team up with her label for this pre-album release event. The anticipated affair takes place on Saturday, April 4 at the exclusive New World Stages, in New York's theater district.

Michele will be hosting the all-new Carnival Saturdays
kick-off event for Upscale Crowd and Caribbean Fuse, which will take
place every first Saturday of each month at the prized venue. Michele
will be joined by some special friends for this soirée, including a special surprise guest.

In addition, patrons will be in for quite the treat, as the venue will be
themed by genre, and will play host to some of the hottest deejays in
New York City. Performing live on the hip-hop, R&B and reggae level
will be HOT97's DJ Envy, and Calli B, whereas the soca level will house Young Chow and Natural Freaks. Add that to the soul and jazz of Chrisette Michele, there are options for everyone come this Saturday.
